BlocBox will collect and encrypt information that is stored locally within safety instruments installed on ships and airplanes. The encrypted data will then be transmitted to the BlocBox protocol for storage and future retrieval, significantly decreasing response time in the event of a disaster.
A key factor in reducing the rate of maritime incidences falls onto the collection and review of data retrieved from ships involved. High quality data would also assist in post-incident remediation, particularly with regards to insurance claims and processes. As a result, the Maritime Safety Committee, formed by the International Maritime Organization, made it a requirement for all sea vessels to have a Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) onboard. The VDR is an instrument installed onto a ship that continuously records vital information related to the operations of a vessel. These records are stored locally on the device for a period of 12 hours and are continuously overwritten by new input. However, in major incidences, the challenge in data retrieval is mostly due to the difficulty in retrieving the VDR.
Lack of availability and extraction of real time data
Recovery of safety instrument is costly
Recovery and extracting of data is very time consuming
Lack of analysis on existing data for enhanced training as data is constantly being overwritten
Different safety instrument manufacturers store data in different formats
Timeless - No time lost for access to data
Cost Effective - Negligible cost to access data
Decentralised Storage - Secure and tamper proof
Dispute Resolution - Assist interested parties in investigation
Data Formats - Uniform shore retrival data formats

BlocBox Pte. Ltd. (UEN: 201831585M) is headquartered in Singapore.
Yes, we are open for partnership opportunities for the right stakeholders. Kindly send us your request to partnerships@blocbox.io
BlocX(BLX) token will be a key part of the BlocBox ecosystem, functioning as the primary value carrier within it. Using BLX as a primary means of value transference will assist in cross border dealings, increase transparency across the sector, reduce cash based payments onboard and encourage accountability across all stakeholders.
Our Soft Cap is 3 Million USD. This would be used for developing our Maritime Solution
Our Hard Cap is 12 Million USD. Hard Cap would allow us to develop the Blocbox solution for Aviation
60% of the funds raised during ICO would be used for Research & Development of the Product, 20 % for the Marketing & remaining 20% for day to day operations
The funds raised using Soft Cap would be utilising in developing the BlocBox for Maritime and BlocBox analytics. For aviation, the costs for carrying out research and development is much higher due to the complexity and the quantity of data being captured. Hence we would need more funds for developing BlocBox Aviation which can be achieved through our Hard Cap.
Yes, we have a limited supply on the tokens. Our total market cap is around 250,000,000 BLX Tokens
Yes, you can buy BLX Tokens using Fiat Currency. Just drop us an email at contact@blocbox.io
